Agreste - The French Statistics and Forecasting Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food
The French Statistics and Forecasting Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food carries out a major operation dedicated to the agricultural census. The first results were presented on December 10, 2021 at a press conference organized by the Minister of Agriculture and Food: "The agricultural census provides accurate and up-to-date data on French agriculture and evaluates its position in European agriculture. These data also help define and adjust public policies at the national and local scales. The census was launched in October 2020 throughout France and was successfully completed in May".
Ciril GROUP played a major role in this 2020 agricultural census by working with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food to set up and integrate data into their geostatistical observatory, named Agreste.
