Habitat partnership observatory - The French Urban Planning Agency of the Lyon metropolitan area (UrbaLyon)

The French Urban Planning Agency of the Lyon metropolitan area (UrbaLyon) coordinates the Habitat partnership observatory with the Lyon metropolitan area, the Urban Master Plans of the Lyon metropolitan area and the French Government. This geostatistical observatory, which is only available internally to all partners, is used to centralize, organize and enhance the data related to the census of the "public" social housing stock, excluding private subsidized housing, in order to improve the knowledge of each economic actor in the housing field.

"The observatory enables to follow-up the territorial dynamics of housing. It supports local authorities in the development and the monitoring of planning tools and contributes to the implementation of housing policies".
